Kirsten Hochstedt
Assistant Director of Assessment
Kirsten Hochstedt is an Assistant Director of Assessment in the Office of Planning, Assessment, and Institutional Research. She supports faculty, program coordinators, and administrators across Penn State to develop and execute plans to assess student learning in undergraduate and graduate programs, certificates, and general education. She also helps to coordinate, administer, and analyze University-wide assessments in areas of institutional focus.
Prior to joining OPAIR in 2021, Kirsten served as an Assessment Specialist at Penn State’s College of Information Sciences and Technology. She previously held positions at Penn State’s Leonhard Center for Enhancement of Engineering Education, and Student Affairs Research and Assessment. Kirsten holds a M.S. and Ph.D. in Educational Psychology from Penn State and a B.A. in Psychology from Loyola University Maryland
