Welcome to the Penn State Survey Calendar!
This calendar registers surveys that have been logged with the Office of Planning, Assessment, and Institutional Research (OPAIR). The goal is to keep each other aware of large surveys, to avoid overlap, and (hopefully!) improve response rates through reduced survey fatigue.
How to navigate this calendar: Use the today, back, and next buttons at the top of the calendar to change the time frame being displayed. Clicking a survey will reveal more details. Surveys are labeled by target population: STUDENT, STAFF, FACULTY, or MIXED POPULATION.

Do I need to add my survey?
If you are planning a survey with a large target audience, you should add your survey to the calendar. This includes surveys that will go to:
- One or more audiences (e.g., students, faculty, or staff) University-wide
- All students, all faculty, all staff, or all community members at a single location or in a particular college
- A multi-campus or multi-college sample of faculty, staff, or students
- If in doubt, please submit your survey for inclusion on the calendar
When should I add my survey?
The sooner the better! As soon as you have an estimate of your survey timeline, submit it for inclusion. You can always update the specific dates later.
My survey is on the calendar, but how can I make a correction?
