Join us for an exciting event with many opportunities to gain valuable knowledge and inspiration from distinguished leaders and presenters. On the first day, Executive Vice President and Provost Fotis Sotiropoulos will provide opening remarks and the second day will kick off with a keynote panel discussion on Artificial Intelligence and the Future of Data featuring thought leaders from across the University.

Summit Tracks

The 2026 Data Summit features five distinct conference tracks.  These conference tracks will be featured throughout the agenda and allow users to filter for session content that aligns with the track(s) of their choosing.

Exploration and Discovery: Emerging Frontiers in Analytics and AI

This track will spotlight cutting-edge techniques, machine learning, and new territories in data science. 

Crossroads and Connections: Building Collaborative Data Pathways

This track will highlight cross-unit partnerships, shared data ecosystems, and the power of collective intelligence.

Guiding Stars: Equity, Inclusion, and Ethical Direction

Explore using data to illuminate paths toward belonging, fairness, and responsible innovation. 

Plotting the Course: Strategic Planning Through Insight

This track will highlight sessions focused on using data to guide institutional strategy, resource allocation, and long-term vision.  

Mapping the Landscape: Understanding Our Data Terrain

Explore the current state of data across Penn State—systems, silos, strengths, and opportunities.
